I have used furl since July 2005. March 17 I discovered that furl would be phased out by diigo. On March 29 diigo wrote me that transfer was completed: not all my 13449 furled bookmarks were there; I have to retrieve manually the hundred private to make them private again; stars, views are lost; dates, tags and keywords are mixed up, and it needs many clicks to set things right. In short, it is a huge mess and I ask: is it worth the trouble to classify again? Will diigo last?

I personally like http://xmarks.com - formerly called Foxmarks.
It's a free service, and they have a great way to sync via plugins between all your computers and browsers... I use Firefox, Flock and sometimes even IE (for some stupid sites which don't work in a "normal" browser) - and xmarks keeps all my important bookmarks accessible everywhere.
